Big challenges & smart failures in plant-based food applications
This online workshop is dedicated to the fast-growing demand for innovative food ingredients in vegetarian and vegan food applications. We look forward to greet all members who are interested in sharing big challenges and lessons learnt with colleagues from the food ingredients industry and with Jos Havekotte, Innovation Manager at Innovate.nu, as an industry expert.
IFFI facilitates an online workshop in which IFFI members exchange their experiences and insights about the challenges and limitations of using plant proteins in food applications. The demand for innovative food ingredients in vegetarian and vegan food applications is growing fast. The pressure is on! IFFI members have expressed a clear interest in discussing the technological limits of the food processing industry when it comes to the use of plant proteins.

Jos has built a career in meat and fresh products. He is familiar with the latest trends and developments in food(service), meat(replacers) and related technology and is capable to translate these into innovative and sustainable products and concepts.
Jos has worked for companies like Vion Food Group, Hilton Food Group, Albert Heijn, Westfort Vlees, Deli Harmony, Diviande, Future Food Group.
The online workshop is for Members Only: for innovation/R&D managers, marketing managers, business development and consumer insight managers, product development specialists, process and application technologists, regulatory and food safety specialists and other colleagues from IFFI members who are interested in plant based food applications.
