Join Young IFFI on 8 October for an inspiring day exploring one of the most exciting developments in the food industry. Jan Buining is the founder of TastyBasics and a passionate advocate for less processed, nutrient-dense foods. After a long career in the food and feed industry, including serving as Commercial Director at Kievit (now part of FrieslandCampina), he began questioning the industry’s focus on taste and functionality over health. Drawing on decades of firsthand experience, Buining now works to make healthy choices the logical choices, helping to reshape the conversation around ultra-processed foods and product development.
